Canning, Freezing & Dehydrating is a great way to enjoy your fresh MN Grown veggies all year long.  We like to tailor our gardens for these events.   Troy is sure to find out what the best ingredients are for salsa's and tomato sauces.   He specializes in growing the juiciest most flavorful tomatoes for this reason.

Freezing vegetables is the easier process.  There is nothing better than pulling vegetables from your freezer that you know where they came from and how they were grown.  Our holiday dinners always include our freezer corn and it's always almost as good as when it's fresh picked.

Freezing Dehydrating
August & September are SALSA & SAUCE MONTHS.

 

Freezing can be done any time during the growing season.   Some of my favorites that always turn out great are Green Beans & Corn.  See our Recipe page for our "no cook" freezer corn. Dehydrating is also a great way to enjoy fresh produce throughout the year.  My favorites are herbs and tomatoes.
